The South Asian Progressive Alliance is organizing our first Book Club featuring 'The Truth About Me: A Hijra Life Story' by A. Revathi.

A. Revathi is a trans rights activist, author and performer based in India. The book is an account of the persecution and violence she faced both within her home and outside. She will be joining us virtually from Tamil Nadu, India.

Aniruddhan Vasudevan (fellow; Anthropology) will facilitate and translate the event. The first 20 people to register will get a free e-copy of the book, and will be allowed to attend the event in-person. The option of virtual attendance is also available.
