Event Description

The Society for Seventeenth-Century Music (SSCM) will hold its annual meeting this spring at the Princeton University, April 4-7, 2024 hosted by the Department of Music.  The conference will feature three days of scholarly presentations, a dance workshop, lightening talks for graduate students, and two concerts, including excerpts from faculty fellow Wendy Heller’s new critical edition (Bärenreiter) Cavalli’s Veremonda l’amazzone di Aragona (1652),

Admission to the concerts is free; Princeton staff, faculty, and students who wish to attend the conference are asked to pre-register.
