The Committee for the Anthropology of Science, Technology & Computing awards Timothy Y. Loh the 2024 graduate student paper prize in recognition of excellent work by a rising scholar. His paper, “An Expanded Istifada: Cochlear Implants and Regulating Communication for Deaf Jordanians,” examines the diagnostic and pedagogical practices of cochlear implant experts working with deaf children in Jordan.
