The Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts welcomes five new postdoctoral Cotsen fellows who have begun their terms in the Society in fall 2023:  Supratik Baralay (Classics | Humanistic Studies), Lacy Feigh (History), Akil Fletcher (Anthropology) and Xiaoyu Xia (East Asian Studies) are appointed as lecturers in the Humanities Council and their academic host departments, teaching half-time while pursuing their research projects over a period of three years. Lieke van Son (Astrophysics), who also joined the Society this fall term, is appointed as a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Astrophysical Sciences.
