Divya Cherian receives American Historical Association book award

Faculty fellow, Divya Cherian (history) receives The John F. Richards Prize in South Asian History for her most recent book “Merchants of Virtue: Hindus, Muslims, and Untouchables in Eighteenth-Century South Asia.” This American Historical Association award recognizes the most distinguished work of scholarship on South Asian history published in English.
